Harnessing the Power of the Waxing Phase: Dos and don't (Part 2 of 4)


The waxing moon, also known as the time between the new moon and the full moon, is a period filled with energy that is ideal for growth, manifestation, and progress. It's a time when the moon appears to be growing larger each night, symbolizing potential and building momentum. Understanding how to align yourself with this phase can enhance your productivity and amplify your intentions. Here’s a guide on what to do and what to avoid during this potent lunar phase.


Do:


1.      Set Intentions and Goals: The waxing moon is perfect for setting clear intentions, mapping out a launch, taking steps to get something new off the ground and set goals for the upcoming weeks. Whether you’re aiming for personal growth, career advancement, or improved relationships, articulate your desires clearly during this time.


2.      Take Action: As the moon waxes, so should your efforts. It’s a favorable period for initiating new projects, starting healthy habits, or making significant changes in your life. Actively pursue your ambitions with confidence, determination and a spark of fresh energy.


3.      Focus on Growth: Use the energy of the waxing moon to cultivate growth in all areas of your life. This could mean learning new skills, expanding your knowledge, or nurturing your relationships and friendships.  Be open to opportunities for development and progress

4.      Charge Crystals and Tools: Crystals and other spiritual tools are believed to absorb and amplify energy. Place them under the waxing moonlight to cleanse and charge them, enhancing their effectiveness for your rituals or intentions.


5.      Practice Gratitude: Cultivate an attitude of gratitude during this phase will move you towards your goals faster. Gratitude is the secret ingredient to manifesting. It also helps you get out of your comfort zone.  Acknowledge and appreciate the progress you’ve made so far and remain optimistic about the outcomes you’re working towards. Gratitude attracts more positive energy. Do this practice anytime in the moon cycle but especially during the waxing phase.


Don’t:


1.      Avoid Negative Thinking: The waxing moon is a time for positivity and forward movement. Avoid self-doubt, pessimism, or focusing on past failures. Use tapping (emotional freedom technique) to let go of unwanted emotions. Instead, channel your energy into constructive thoughts and actions.



2.      Rush or Force Things: While it’s a period for action, avoid rushing into decisions or forcing outcomes. Trust the natural flow of events and allow things to unfold at their own pace. Patience and persistance are key during this phase.


3.      Neglect Self-Care: Amidst your endeavors, remember to prioritize self-care. Ensure you get enough rest, eat nourishing foods, and engage in activities that replenish your energy like a new workout class or modifying your workout routine. A balanced approach supports sustained effort.


4.      Overcommit Yourself: While it’s tempting to take on numerous projects during the waxing moon, be mindful not to overextend yourself. Focus on a few meaningful goals that align with your priorities, capabilities and values.


5.      Ignore Intuitive Insights: Pay attention to your intuition during the waxing moon phase. Your instincts can provide valuable guidance on the best actions to take and decisions to make. Trust your inner wisdom.


The waxing moon phase offers a period of opportunity and empowerment. By harnessing its energy effectively, you can accelerate your progress towards your aspirations and enhance your overall well-being.
